Harvest@Home -- A Collaboration with SNACK

Harvest@Home, an Edible Landscapes and SNACK collaboration

    The Genesis

    Choosing a Partner

    Choosing a Partner

We have a treasured relationship with SNACK because of closely aligned goals. Both organizations have a focus on access to nutritional food as an essential element of good health.

    Choosing a Partner

    Choosing a Partner

When we were given the opportunity to develop a project impacting the health of  Yamhill County residents, especially children, we immediately thought of SNACK.

    The Process

    Choosing a Partner

SNACK initiated the process by inviting a broad cross section of families to apply for a garden at their home. We jointly selected the  nine families who would most benefit from a home garden, and got to work! In spite of 90+ degree weather, all the partners cheerfully worked together to install the Harvest@Home gardens.
